Le opere di Marco Martalar, scultore del legno riconosciuto a livello internazionale, nascono da un profondo legame con la natura e da una storia di trasformazione. Drago Vaia Regeneration
Tra tutte le opere, il Drago Vaia Regeneration rappresenta senza dubbio la creazione più simbolica e riconoscibile. Con una lunghezza di 16 metri, un’altezza di 7 metri e circa 6 tonnellate di legno carbonizzato, è considerato uno dei più grandi draghi scolpiti in legno al mondo.
L'aquila Vaia di Marcesina
Con i suoi 7 metri di altezza e 5 di lunghezza e un peso di 1600 kg è la più grande Aquila in legno d'Europa, simbolo di forza e di libertà. Imponente e maestosa, un'enorme aquila in legno spiega le sue ali verso l'orizzonte e dirige lo sguardo verso i luoghi colpiti dalla tempesta Vaia.
Grifone del Tesino
Alto 6 metri, lungo 9 e pesa 35 quintali; il Grifone del Tesino è stato inaugurato a settembre 2023 ed è visitabile tutti i giorni dell'anno.
Orso del Pradel
L’Orso Vaia è un’imponente installazione artistica che si trova sull’Altopiano di Pradel, nel cuore delle Dolomiti di Brenta. L’opera raffigura un orso bruno, figura simbolica legata alla forza, alla protezione e all’equilibrio della natura.

Cervo di Vaia

Haflinger di Strembo
Imponente scultura in legno situata nel parco Giorgio Ducoli a Strembo (TN), in Val Rendena. L'opera è costruita con oltre 2000 radici di larice recuperate dopo la tempesta Vaia, diventando il cavallo di legno più grande d'Europa.
La Guana del Primiero
Situata al Parco Navoi di Fiera di Primiero, rappresenta una ninfa d'acqua legata alle leggende locali, simbolo di rinascita, resilienza e armonia naturale.

The works of Marco Martalar, an internationally recognized wood sculptor, are born from a deep connection with nature and a story of transformation. Using timber from trees felled by the Vaia storm of 2018, the artist has created unique installations scattered across the mountains and forests of Trentino and Veneto.

Drago Vaia Regeneration
Among all the works, the Drago Vaia Regeneration undoubtedly represents the most symbolic and recognizable creation. Measuring 16 meters in length, 7 meters in height, and made from about 6 tons of charred wood, it is considered one of the largest wooden dragons in the world.
The Vaia Eagle of Marcesina
With its 7 meters in height, 5 meters in length, and a weight of 1,600 kg, it is the largest wooden eagle in Europe, a symbol of strength and freedom. Imposing and majestic, this enormous wooden eagle spreads its wings toward the horizon and gazes toward the areas struck by the Vaia storm.
Grifone del Tesino (Tesino Griffin)
Standing 6 meters tall, 9 meters long, and weighing 3.5 tons, the Tesino Griffin was inaugurated in September 2023 and can be visited every day of the year.
Orso del Pradel (Pradel Bear)
The Vaia Bear is an impressive artistic installation located on the Pradel Plateau, in the heart of the Brenta Dolomites. The sculpture depicts a brown bear, a symbolic figure associated with strength, protection, and the balance of nature.

Carved by human hands and shaped by the wind, the she-wolf silently watches over the Valsugana from above Vetriolo.
