Itinerario ad anello con partenza dal parcheggio delle piscine di Desenzano, ampio e gratuito, in direzione Salò lungo le splendide colline del Lago di Garda.

Dai pressi del parcheggio si imbocca rapidamente la pista ciclabile che conduce verso Salò attraverso un percorso vario, alternando tratti asfaltati e sterrati. Il tracciato si sviluppa tra dolci saliscendi panoramici con scorci suggestivi sul lago e sulla natura circostante. Nelle giornate più limpide il panorama regala viste ancora più spettacolari.

Seguendo le indicazioni lungo il percorso, è possibile raggiungere il Castello di Padenghe del Garda, una tappa consigliata per chi desidera scoprire uno dei luoghi storici più affascinanti della zona. Arrivati a Salò, il lungolago offre il contesto ideale per una pausa rilassante prima del rientro verso Desenzano.

Per il ritorno, il percorso si mantiene il più vicino possibile alle rive del lago, attraversando anche alcuni tratti pedonali da percorrere con attenzione e, dove richiesto, accompagnando la bicicletta a mano.

Prima di concludere l’itinerario, merita una sosta la Chiesetta di San Fermo, punto panoramico dal quale si può ammirare una splendida vista dall’alto sul Lago di Garda.

Il percorso è particolarmente adatto a biciclette Gravel e MTB.

Circular route starting from the spacious and free parking area near the Desenzano swimming pools, heading towards Salò through the beautiful hills surrounding Lake Garda.

Shortly after leaving the parking area, the cycle path begins and leads towards Salò along a varied route combining paved and unpaved sections. The trail winds through gentle ups and downs with scenic views overlooking the lake and the surrounding countryside. On clear days, the panorama becomes even more spectacular.

Following the route signs along the way, cyclists can reach the Castle of Padenghe del Garda, a highly recommended stop for those wishing to discover one of the area’s most charming historical landmarks. Once in Salò, the lakeside promenade offers the perfect setting for a relaxing break before heading back towards Desenzano.

For the return journey, the route stays as close as possible to the lakeshore, including some pedestrian sections where extra attention is required and, when necessary, bicycles must be walked by hand.

Before completing the tour, a stop at the small Church of San Fermo is well worth it, thanks to the magnificent panoramic view over Lake Garda.

Rundtour mit Start am großen und kostenlosen Parkplatz bei den Schwimmbädern von Desenzano in Richtung Salò durch die wunderschönen Hügel des Gardasees.

Bereits kurz nach dem Start beginnt der Radweg, der über eine abwechslungsreiche Strecke aus Asphalt- und Schotterwegen nach Salò führt. Die Route verläuft durch sanfte Hügel mit herrlichen Ausblicken auf den See und die umliegende Landschaft. An klaren Tagen sind die Panoramen besonders beeindruckend.

Entlang der Strecke führen die Wegweiser zum Schloss von Padenghe del Garda, einem empfehlenswerten Zwischenstopp für alle, die eines der schönsten historischen Bauwerke der Gegend entdecken möchten. In Salò angekommen, lädt die Uferpromenade zu einer entspannenden Pause ein, bevor es zurück nach Desenzano geht.

Auf dem Rückweg bleibt die Strecke möglichst nah am Seeufer und führt teilweise auch über Fußgängerbereiche, in denen besondere Vorsicht geboten ist und das Fahrrad gegebenenfalls geschoben werden muss.

Bevor die Tour endet, lohnt sich ein Halt an der kleinen Kirche San Fermo, von der aus man einen wunderschönen Panoramablick auf den Gardasee genießen kann.

Die Strecke eignet sich besonders gut für Gravelbikes und Mountainbikes.
