A Rovereto la campana della pace in memoria dei caduti di tutte le guerre
Fusa con il bronzo dei cannoni delle nazioni partecipanti alla Prima guerra mondiale, è la campana più grande del mondo che suoni a distesa. Ogni sera al tramonto i suoi cento rintocchi sono un monito di pace universale.
Nata da un’idea di don Antonio Rossaro, la Campana dei Caduti di Rovereto venne fusa a Trento nel 1924 con il bronzo dei cannoni delle nazioni partecipanti alla Prima guerra mondiale. Battezzata con il nome di Maria Dolens, fu collocata sul torrione Malipiero del Castello di Rovereto. La Campana, rifusa a Verona nel 1939 tornò a Rovereto esattamente un anno dopo. Nel 1960, in seguito ad una grave e irreparabile incrinatura, Maria Dolens venne rifusa presso le fonderie Capanni a Castelnovo Né Monti (Reggio Emilia). L’attuale bronzo benedetto da Papa Paolo VI, venne collocato sul colle di Miravalle il 4 novembre 1965, da dove domina tuttora la città di Rovereto.
Nella zona museale trovi una mostra fotografica permanente e un breve video sulla storia della Campana dei Caduti.
Con una piacevole passeggiata nel bosco, dal colle di Miravalle puoi raggiungere il Sacrario monumentale di Castel Dante, che conserva le spoglie di ventimila soldati.

Born from an idea of Don Antonio Rossaro, Rovereto’s Campana dei Caduti was cast in Trento in 1924 with the bronze of the cannons of the participating nations of the First World War. Baptized with the name Maria Dolens, it was placed on the Malipiero tower of Castello di Rovereto. The Bell, recast in Verona in 1939 was returned to Rovereto exactly one year later. In 1960, following a serious and irreparable crack, , Maria Dolens was recast at the Capanni foundries in Castelnovo Né Monti (Reggio Emilia). The current bronze, blessed by Pope Paul VI, was placed on the Colle di Miravalle on November 4, 1965, from where it continues to tower over the entire city of Rovereto. In the museum area you will find a permanent photographic exhibition and a short video about the history of the Campana dei Caduti. With an enjoyable stroll through the woods, from Colle di Miravalle you can reach Castel Dante Shrine, which holds the remains of 20,000 soldiers.

In Rovereto die Glocke des Friedens in Erinnerung aller Kriegsgefallenen
Vom Bronze der Kanonen der Länder, die am Ersten Weltkrieg teilgenommen haben, verschmolzen, ist diese Glocke die gröβte auf der ganzen Welt, die “a distesa” läuten kann (d.h.: wenn die Glocke um einer fast baryzentrischen Achse schwingt). Jeden Abend, zum Sonnenuntergang, sind dessen Glockenschlagen eine Mahnung zum allgemeinen Frieden.
Von einer Idee von Don Antonio Rossaro stammend, wurde die Glocke der Gefallenen in Rovereto (Trento) im Jahre 1924 vom Bronze der Kanonen der Länder, die am Ersten Weltkrieg teilgenommen haben, verschmolzen.
Mit dem Namen von Maria Dolens getauft, wurde sie auf dem Wachtturm Malipiero vom Schloss von Rovereto gestellt. Die Glocke wurde dann im Jahre 1939 in Verona nochmals geschmolzen und exakt ein Jahr später in Rovereto wiedergebracht. Im Jahre 1960, infolge eines ernsthaften und irreparablen Risses, wurde Maria Dolens bei den Gieβereien Capanni a Castelnovo Né Monti (Reggio Emilia) wiedergeschmolzen. Die heutige, von Papst Paolo VI gesegnete Bronze, wurde auf dem Hügel von Miravalle am 4 November 1965 gestellt, von wo er noch heute die ganze Stadt von Rovereto dominiert.
Im Museumbereich findest du eine permanente fotografische Ausstellung und ein kurzes Video über die Geschichte der Glocke der Gefallenen. Mit einem angenehmen Spaziergang im Wald, kannst du vom Hügel von Miravalle die monumentale Gedenkstätte von Castel Dante, die die Reste von 20000 Soldaten aufbewahrt, erreichen.
