Rifugio Don Zio

A pochi passi dalla cima del Monte Casale (1632 m), il Rifugio don Zio Pisoni si trova a circa 1600 metri di altitudine e offre uno straordinario panorama a 360° sulle montagne, sui laghi e sulle valli del Trentino. Dalla vetta si può ammirare il Lago di Garda, il gruppo dell’Adamello, il Brenta e la Paganella, oltre ai numerosi laghi delle vallate circostanti.

In primavera il Monte Casale si colora grazie alla fioritura di molte erbe officinali e fiori alpini, mentre di notte il rifugio regala atmosfere uniche: dalle suggestive lune piene ai cieli limpidi perfetti per osservare stelle e costellazioni.

Il rifugio offre pranzi, aperitivi e cene su prenotazione, oltre alla possibilità di pernottamento. Tra le specialità spicca il piatto unico del rifugio con polenta di Storo, spezzatino, crauti e formaggio fuso, tipico della tradizione trentina.

Just a short distance from the summit of Monte Casale (1632 m), Rifugio don Zio Pisoni is located at about 1600 meters above sea level and offers a spectacular 360° panoramic view over the mountains, lakes, and valleys of Trentino. From the top you can admire Lake Garda, the peaks of the Adamello, the Brenta Dolomites, and the Paganella, as well as the many lakes scattered throughout the surrounding valleys.

In spring, Monte Casale becomes especially beautiful thanks to the blooming of many alpine flowers and medicinal plants. At night, the refuge offers a unique atmosphere: from the magical light of the full moon to the clear skies that are perfect for observing stars and constellations.

The refuge offers lunch, aperitifs, and dinners by reservation, as well as the possibility of overnight stays. One of the house specialties is the refuge platter with Storo polenta, stew, sauerkraut, and melted cheese, a traditional dish from Trentino.

Nur wenige Schritte vom Gipfel des Monte Casale (1632 m) entfernt liegt das Rifugio don Zio Pisoni auf etwa 1600 Metern Höhe und bietet einen beeindruckenden 360°-Panoramablick auf die Berge, Seen und Täler des Trentino. Vom Gipfel aus kann man den Gardasee, die Gipfel der Adamello-Gruppe, die Brenta-Dolomiten und die Paganella sowie zahlreiche Seen in den umliegenden Tälern bewundern.

Im Frühling zeigt sich der Monte Casale von seiner schönsten Seite, wenn zahlreiche Alpenblumen und Heilpflanzen zu blühen beginnen. Auch nachts bietet die Umgebung eine besondere Atmosphäre: vom magischen Licht des Vollmonds bis zu klaren Nächten, die ideal sind, um Sterne und Sternbilder zu beobachten.

Das Rifugio bietet Mittagessen, Aperitifs und Abendessen auf Reservierung sowie die Möglichkeit zur Übernachtung. Zu den Spezialitäten gehört der Rifugio-Teller mit Polenta di Storo, Gulasch, Sauerkraut und geschmolzenem Käse, ein typisches Gericht der Trentiner Tradition.
