Il MUSE - Museo delle Scienze, progettato dall’architetto Renzo Piano, è il luogo ideale per esplorare scienza e natura. Situato nel quartiere Le Albere, è stato inaugurato nell’estate del 2013, sostituendo il precedente Museo tridentino di scienze naturali. L’edificio si sviluppa su circa 19.000 m² distribuiti su sei piani, tutti da scoprire.

Il percorso espositivo utilizza la metafora della montagna per guidare i visitatori dall’alto verso il basso: dalla formazione delle Dolomiti, alla biodiversità alpina, dalla storia dei primi insediamenti umani fino alla scoperta delle origini del mondo, con la più grande mostra di dinosauri dell’arco alpino. Al centro della filosofia del MUSE c’è il rapporto tra uomo e natura, mostrando come scienza e tecnologia possano contribuire a soluzioni sostenibili per il futuro del pianeta. Exhibit interattivi e installazioni multimediali offrono un’esperienza coinvolgente, pensata soprattutto per giovani, bambini e famiglie. Accanto al percorso permanente, il museo ospita mostre temporanee, progetti innovativi ed eventi speciali.

All’interno del MUSE si trovano spazi unici come la serra tropicale, il “FabLab” – laboratorio di fabbricazione digitale – e l’area “Maxi Ooh!”, dedicata ai bambini da 0 a 5 anni, dove possono scoprire, osservare e sperimentare attraverso stimoli sensoriali, reali e virtuali. Un’esperienza educativa e divertente per tutta la famiglia.

The MUSE - Museo delle Scienze, designed by architect Renzo Piano, is the perfect place to explore science and nature. Located in the Le Albere neighborhood, it opened in the summer of 2013, replacing the former Trento Museum of Natural Sciences. The building covers around 19,000 m² over six floors, all waiting to be discovered.

The exhibition path uses the metaphor of a mountain to guide visitors from top to bottom: from the formation of the Dolomites to Alpine biodiversity, from the history of the first human settlements to the origins of the world, featuring the largest dinosaur exhibition in the Alpine region. At the heart of MUSE’s philosophy is the relationship between humans and nature, showing how science and technology can help find sustainable solutions for the future of our planet. Interactive exhibits and multimedia installations provide an engaging experience, especially designed for young people, children, and families. Alongside the permanent exhibition, the museum hosts temporary exhibitions, innovative projects, and special events.

Inside MUSE, visitors can also explore unique spaces such as the tropical greenhouse, the “FabLab” digital fabrication laboratory, and the “Maxi Ooh!” area for children aged 0–5, where they can discover, observe, and experiment through sensory, real, and virtual experiences. Das MUSE - Museo delle Scienze, entworfen vom Architekten Renzo Piano, ist der ideale Ort, um Wissenschaft und Natur zu entdecken. Es befindet sich im Stadtviertel Le Albere und wurde im Sommer 2013 eröffnet, als Ersatz für das frühere Trienter Museum für Naturwissenschaften. Das Gebäude erstreckt sich über rund 19.000 m² auf sechs Stockwerken, die alle erkundet werden können.

Der Ausstellungsparcours nutzt die Metapher eines Berges, um die Besucher von oben nach unten zu führen: von der Entstehung der Dolomiten über die alpine Biodiversität, von den ersten menschlichen Siedlungen bis zu den Ursprüngen der Welt, mit der größten Dinosaurierausstellung der Alpenregion. Im Zentrum der Philosophie des MUSE steht die Beziehung zwischen Mensch und Natur und zeigt, wie Wissenschaft und Technologie nachhaltige Lösungen für die Zukunft unseres Planeten unterstützen können. Interaktive Exponate und multimediale Installationen bieten ein fesselndes Erlebnis, besonders für Kinder, Jugendliche und Familien. Neben der Dauerausstellung werden temporäre Ausstellungen, innovative Projekte und Sonderveranstaltungen gezeigt.

Im MUSE können Besucher zudem einzigartige Bereiche entdecken, wie das tropische Gewächshaus, das „FabLab“ für digitale Fertigung und den Bereich „Maxi Ooh!“ für Kinder von 0–5 Jahren, in dem sie durch sensorische, reale und virtuelle Erfahrungen lernen, beobachten und experimentieren können. Ein lehrreiches und unterhaltsames Erlebnis für die ganze Familie.
