All’esterno di Porta Verona, di fronte al Bastione di San Marco, si trova la Caserma dell’Artiglieria, edificio di grande rilievo storico.

L’ampio complesso, fatto realizzare dal feldmaresciallo Josef Radetzky durante la dominazione austriaca, nacque come arsenale militare. Oggi ospita la biblioteca civica e l’archivio storico comunale ed è utilizzato anche per eventi culturali, tra cui spettacoli teatrali, mostre e rassegne.

Outside Porta Verona, opposite the Bastione di San Marco, stands the Caserma dell’Artiglieria, a building of notable historical importance.

The large complex was commissioned by Field Marshal Josef Radetzky during the Austrian period and originally served as a military arsenal. Today it houses the civic library and the municipal historical archive, and it is also used as a venue for cultural events such as theatre performances, exhibitions, and festivals.

Außerhalb der Porta Verona, gegenüber der Bastione di San Marco, befindet sich die Caserma dell’Artiglieria, ein historisch bedeutendes Gebäude.

Der weitläufige Komplex wurde während der österreichischen Herrschaft von Feldmarschall Josef Radetzky in Auftrag gegeben und diente ursprünglich als Militärarsenal. Heute beherbergt er die Stadtbibliothek und das kommunale historische Archiv und wird zudem für kulturelle Veranstaltungen wie Theateraufführungen, Ausstellungen und Veranstaltungsreihen genutzt.
