Dal Piam del Keserle al Rifugio Lancia per Malga Zocchi e il Monte Testo

Trincee, gallerie, panorami sulla Vallarsa e le Piccole Dolomiti

Il percorso attraversa una suggestiva faggeta e poi un prato dominato dalla caratteristici edifici di Malga Zocchi. Dalla cima del Monte Testo, il rilievo posto proprio alle spalle della malga, nelle giornate di bel tempo lo sguardo spazia sull'ampio panorama che da est ad ovest comprende i rilievi più alti del Monte Pasubio: i Denti Italiano ed Austroungarico, Cima Palon, le Piccole Dolomiti, la catena che sovrasta la Vallarsa comprendente Cima Levante e il Monte Zugna, fino ad ammirare in lontananza il Monte Altissimo e la catena del Monte Telegrafo, posti tra il Lago di Garda e la Valle dell'Adige.

 

Proprio sotto la cima del Monte Testo, l'esercito austroungarico ha scavato un complesso di gallerie e ricoveri di notevole interesse che ora, liberati dai detriti che ne ostruivano parzialmente il passaggio, grazie al lavoro dei Soci della S.A.T. di Rovereto, risulta di notevole interesse.

Trenches, tunnels, and views over Vallarsa and the Piccole Dolomiti.

The route passes through a charming beech forest and then a meadow dominated by the characteristic buildings of Malga Zocchi. From the summit of Monte Testo, the ridge located just behind the mountain hut, on clear days the view opens onto a wide panorama that from east to west includes the highest peaks of Monte Pasubio: the Italian and Austro-Hungarian “Teeth,” Cima Palon, the Piccole Dolomiti, and the chain overlooking Vallarsa with Cima Levante and Monte Zugna, reaching as far as the distant Monte Altissimo and the Monte Telegrafo range, situated between Lake Garda and the Adige Valley.

Just below the summit of Monte Testo, the Austro-Hungarian army excavated a complex system of tunnels and shelters of remarkable historical interest. Today, after being cleared of the debris that had partially obstructed them—thanks to the work of the members of the S.A.T. section of Rovereto—these structures can once again be explored and are of great interest.

Schützengräben, Stollen und Ausblicke auf die Vallarsa und die Kleinen Dolomiten.

Die Route führt durch einen eindrucksvollen Buchenwald und anschließend über eine Wiese, die von den charakteristischen Gebäuden der Malga Zocchi geprägt ist. Vom Gipfel des Monte Testo, der Anhöhe direkt hinter der Alm, eröffnet sich an klaren Tagen ein weites Panorama: Von Osten nach Westen reichen die Blicke zu den höchsten Erhebungen des Monte Pasubio – den Italienischen und Österreichisch-Ungarischen Zähnen, zur Cima Palon, zu den Kleinen Dolomiten sowie zur Gebirgskette über der Vallarsa mit Cima Levante und Monte Zugna. In der Ferne lassen sich außerdem der Monte Altissimo und die Kette des Monte Telegrafo erkennen, gelegen zwischen dem Gardasee und dem Etschtal.

Direkt unterhalb des Gipfels des Monte Testo ließ die österreichisch-ungarische Armee ein bemerkenswertes System aus Stollen und Unterständen in den Fels graben. Nachdem die Gänge, die teilweise durch Geröll blockiert waren, dank der Arbeit der Mitglieder der S.A.T.-Sektion Rovereto freigeräumt wurden, stellen sie heute ein besonders interessantes Zeugnis dar.
